"Beautiful beautiful food! The dessert portions were huge! The area was so pretty we got lovely photos too the servers were all so nice - especially the supervisor that looked after us. We were recommended to go here and would absolutely recommend it to others - only issue is that it might be hard to get a seat!"

"We first came here in 2019, it's now 2025 and the place doesn't disappoint. The food is fabulous and not rip off prices. It's only small, with 3 floors so a bit of a 'hike' up the stairs if you want the terrace view. Larger groups can be accommodated, no problem, tho it might be a short wait while tables can be pushed together. Service is great and as mentioned earlier, the food is fabulous. I can highly recommend this place."

"3 of my faves here, 4 if you include Italian restaurants. A starter of prawn cocktail with juicy prawns in sweet Marie Rose sauce which was mixed in the salad and all placed on top of a glass with a mystery green liquid in it (water and colouring), adding a unique and interesting touch. Follow this with ravioli filled with ricotta and sauce and if that's not enough, follow that with the absolute king and queen of desserts, Tiramisu, done the proper Italian way. Add a bottle of vino, enjoy and find the bill is not too bad either"

"A really beautiful, cosy and authentic restaurant with rooftops views. Excellent service, food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Lots to choose from on the menu. We didn't book and got a table straight away. Highly recommend if in the area. 5*"

"Probably my favourite place I have eaten while on holidays in Albufeira. Freshly made pasta.. and I think pizza too. Everything you get served is just absolutely delicious, and inside it has the vibe of a true Italian restaurant, representative of the colours and feel of Italy. Good selection of seating. We did have to wait one night for a table for around 15 min, and next night 5-10 min. But it was completely worth it."

"Truly the BEST pizza and pasta in Albufeira. The lovely and beautiful lady with red lipstick serving us was so wonderful (we didn’t get her name). It was so sweet to see how everyone enjoyed having children at their restaurant. None with us but it made a huge impression on the three of us. We will be back before we head home. "Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Ricardo’s, a cozy and welcoming Italian restaurant that instantly made me feel at home. We started our meal with drinks — a refreshing glass of sangria that was perfectly balanced, fruity, and just strong enough to set the mood for the evening. For the main course, we enjoyed a delicious pizza with a crisp, thin crust and rich, flavorful toppings that brought out the authenticity of traditional Italian cuisine. Alongside that, the salmon was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, melting in the mouth with every bite. What made it even more special was the beautiful rooftop terrace, offering a relaxed and scenic setting that added so much charm to the evening. The entire experience at Ricardo’s was unforgettable. It was the kind of meal that leaves you smiling long after you leave. I can’t wait to go back!"
